Zenith Energy are currently requiring a senior drilling engineer required to provide ongoing planning support for a development drilling project offshore in the Mediterranean. the proejct is a 3 turnkey development wells drilled with a jack-up rig
the positions will be for an approx. 3 month period and based in Aberdeen. **Candidates must be eligible to work in the UK/EU**
Role
reporting ino the zenith well team leader the senior drilling engineer will be responsible for, but not limited to
Perform design, programming and time/cosy estimation work together with assigned Snr Completions Engineer
Well suspension programmes, tie back and re-entry programmes, lateral drilling programme, wellbore clean up programme
Equipement lists and time and cost estimates
Performance improvement initiative for wells 2 & 3
Interface with services company engineers as required
Liaise with the operator’s procurement department
Provide technical advise, support and input to the operations team in Greece
Candidate
Engineering qualification (HND min Degree prefered)
Extensive oilfield experience in drilling operations and drilling engineering
Previous experience as Senior Dirlling Engineer
Experience in jack-up drilling
Rigsite experience
Proven track record in delivert of safe and efficient operations
