MDG Processor – Vendor Master
Seven years young and 130 years strong. We are currently in the process of transitioning the MDG Vendor Master function from an outsourced 3rd party provider to an in-house function within the Accounting organization. The MDG Processor – Vendor Master role is accountable for creation and maintenance of company vendor master records utilizing the SAP and MDG tools.Responsibilities:
Create, modify or deactivate vendor master records as per Marathon guidelines
Responsible for the integrity of the vendor master data including verification of the tax and banking information
Maintain and assure accuracy of vendor domestic and international banking information
Review and resolve vendor master call center/helpdesk tickets
Monitor the vendor master email box and reply/follow-up to emails
Provide support for ongoing maintenance of vendor master records
Maintain records in accordance with Marathon’s record retention policy
Performs a variety of tasks and projects as necessary including back-up support for other team members
Degree not required
Minimum 2 years’ business experience required
Minimum 1 years’ vendor master experience required
ERP experience required; SAP (MDG) preferred
Oil & Gas background preferred
Strong data entry skills with a high level of accuracy
Ability to perform daily functions, follow processes and procedures, prioritize multiple tasks and perform under pressure situations & deadlines with minimal supervision
Ability to adapt to changes in work environment, work assignments and/or changes in priorities
Excellent interpersonal skills to effectively work with diverse teams
Good communication skills; ability to explain requirements and forms as related to vendor master
