Our client is looking for an ERP Systems Support Analyst for a permanent position, located in Aberdeen.
This position is an individual contributor role that is responsible for the maintenance of Operational / ERP functional data records and troubleshooting System Support issues. This is time critical activity which needs to be performed by a detail-oriented individual to a high degree of accuracy in order to support the downstream business processes. As the ERP Systems Support Analyst, you will join an expanding organisation upgrading its ERP system through multiple projects and working on a wide range of initiatives to ensure quality controls and processes are in place, and you will influence data at the point of creation to ensure high quality from the start.
Provide Level 1 Process Support point of Contact for the organisation and resolve queries in a timely manner or refers them onto the external support provider.
Responsible for the ERP master data maintenance to ensure each request conforms fully to business rules, corporate governance standards and avoids duplication.
Help develop Reporting through a solid understanding of business requirements and the use of master data within the organization.
Coordinate and manage the lifecycle of the workflow processes handling ERP issues and master data request.
Provide support to users in the form of training on the process, answering queries and resolving issues.
Undertake regular data cleansing activities to raise and maintain the quality of each master data record.
Work closely with the Engineering Drawing Application Library Manager to develop an effective bridge at the Bill of Materials level between the ERP data and the engineering drawings.
Interact with key members of the team to identify opportunities to streamline and improve processes.
Perform and action Business requests within the Service Level Agreement, (SLA), in a manner which is consistent with MDM data standards.
Assess organisational opportunities to improve processes and data within the ERP environment.
Key Participant in the ERP development project, closely involved in the solution design, testing and training.
Experience and Aptitude:
Proven experience working on ERP projects in the areas of data migration and clean up, master data management, process testing or troubleshooting.
Analytical with exceptional attention to detail and a solid understanding of data integrity
Experience working with Master Data Management Processes in an organisation is a plus
Experience of Corporate Reporting Solution rollout or development.
Good working knowledge of MS Office packages, with excellent Excel skills manipulating large data sets.
Good understanding of Master Data Maintenance Best Practice
Strong communication skills
Desirable but not essential:
Experience with MS Navision / AX, Microsoft SQL Server 2012 or later, including SSRS and Power BI
Understanding of relational database structures, principles and practices would also be desirable
Engineering company background, or Knowledge of complex equipment rental / maintenance solutions.
