Minimum Requirement 10+ years spent in drilling projects with a varied experiences (ERD, offshore /onshore, pad/cluster drilling) Demonstrate experience & expert level proficiency as a drilling supervisor in: •Developed drilling programs including: •Operations management & troubleshooting operational issues •Relief Well Planning •Drilling Problem Solving (Lost Returns, Stuck Pipe, Hole Instability) •Hole Cleaning and ECD behavior in ERD wells •Troubleshoot well control situation •Hydraulics & Hole Cleaning •Surge & swab and hydraulic modelling, •Hole cleaning best practices •Casing design •Design & Execution of casing flotation techniques •Drilling Fluids design and various technologies (Water Base, Oil Base and Drill-in fluids) •Cementing Design •Remedial cementing •ERD cementing •Wellbore Stability •Clear understanding of surge & swab implications on wellbore stability and well control •Drill String & BHA Design •Torque and Drag Modeling •Bit Design and Hydraulics •BHA design and vibrational modeling & mitigations •Drill String Inspection standards •Applications in ERD wells (Clear understanding of buckling and torque behaviors in ERD wells) •Well planning & directional planning •Anti collision management •ERD / Directional Drilling and ERD anti-collision analysis and avoidance •Managed Pressure Drilling(MPD) •Performance Engineering •Identifying & Mitigating key ROP limiters •Mitigated invisible lost time •Cost/AFE generation/surveillance •Pore Pressure and Fracture Gradient prediction techniques Developed Drilling standards Participated in a Rig Equipment Inspection Good understanding of completion techniques and technology Open hole and Cased Hole Logging including coil tubing deployment Ability to lead Risk Assessment Teams Fundamental Geology Fundamental Reservoir Engineering Advanced Technical Writing Participated in QAQC inspections/audits Carbonate drilling experience is required Experince with Landmark Applications (Wellplan, Wellcost, StressCheck, Openwells & compass) Experince with Landmark Decision Space is prefrred Managed unstable shales & Heavy losses (shallow & deep) in previous experiences Contributed to a few SPE papers and deployement of new technologies Lead a team of drilling engineers Experience in drilling in high well density areas for Anti-collision purposes Experience with Major IOC is preferable WellControl certified Experience in GCC preferable Established in 1978, NES Global Talent provides a complete range of contract and permanent talent solutions to the Oil and Gas, Power, Construction and Infrastructure, Life Sciences, Manufacturing and IT sectors worldwide.
