Due to short sailing times and location seafarers tax exemption and sea time will not apply as this is a full time position candidates will need to live local to the area as no accommodation will be provided.The shift rotation will be approx. 36 hours per week ( Mon to Fri ) which will include 1 weekend in 5.Main duties will include assisting with the safe loading and unloading of vehicles and foot passengers from the terminal and Ferry, whilst complying with the company’s safety management system.Ensuring company standards are met and contribute to minimising lost time.effectively communicate with fellow crew and officers as well as interact with passengersAssist with cleaning duties on-boardAssist with the safe mooring and unmooring of the vessel Suitable candidates must hold the following certification:Highly desirable –  Level 1 Tier 2 Boat master licence for Category D UK Inland waters & local waters endorsement.Essential -STCW 2010 CertificationValid ENG1Please note candidates must live local to the area and no relocation is available.
