Ably Resources are working closely with an engineering consultancy in Aberdeen. Our client is seeking a Pipeline Design & Analysis Engineer to work in the Aberdeen office.
The requirements will include but not be limited to perform installation analysis and pipeline design activities based on instructions received from Lead/Senior Engineer as per clients’ requirements. The installation analysis activities shall be performed utilising OrcaFlex for variety of scenarios including umbilical, flexible and rigid pipelines as well as structure deployment analysis. The pipeline design scopes cover design requirements for subsea rigid pipelines from pre-FEED to detailed design stages.
Previous installation analysis experience and knowledge in OrcaFlex is essential. Experience in pipeline design and FEA Software packages such as Abaqus/Ansys is desirable.
