In order to accommodate the increasing workload we are looking for experienced Directional Drillers.- Our engineers work closely together with the customer to find the optimal solution for their well and you will be a part of a dynamic and flexible work group. You will work closely with the customer either at the customer`s rig site locations or at Halliburton-s Real-Time center.
You will be responsible to deliver Directional Drilling services either physically at an offshore installation, or in an onshore center. The main tasks are:
Position wells safely to desired trajectories using Motor and RSS systems.
Advise clients on BHA selection and all aspects of Directional Drilling Performance.
Perform calculations using Directional Drilling software including anti-collision to ensure safe and efficient operations.
Daily interaction and reporting to onshore operations team.
Real Time interaction with project management.
Assist LWD engineers in operational areas including BHA and Radioactive handling.

Preferably Master (MSc) or Bachelor degree (BSc) in Petroleum Engineering, Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics field.
A minimum of 5 – 7 years of experience as DD and proficient in use of DD software in fields of well planning, anti-collision, BHA analysis, torque & drag and hydraulics preferably from the Norwegian continental shelf.
Previous offshore experience and deep water experience will be preferred.
Candidates that are team oriented and possess good analytical and communication skills will be preferred.
You need to be able to work in a flexible and responsible manner as the senior service representative on board.
In line with future development in the industry around remote delivery models, candidates based in Stavanger area or with commitment to relocate are preferred.- Onshore assignments should also be expected by all candidates.
Good communication, arithmetic, and computer skills.
Fluency in English and also preferably a Scandinavian language.

We opened in Venezuela in 1940. By 1946, the company – using its innovative technology – had expanded into Colombia, Ecuador, Peru and the Middle East and began performing services for the Arabian-American Oil Company, the forerunner of Saudi Aramco.
In 1951, Halliburton made its first appearance in Europe as Halliburton Italiana SpA., a wholly owned subsidiary in Italy. In the next seven years, Halliburton launched Halliburton Company Germany GmbH, set up operations in Argentina and established a subsidiary in England.
In 1984, Halliburton provided all of the well completion equipment for the first multiwell platform offshore China. Two years later, Halliburton became the first American company to perform an oilfield service job on the China mainland
The final decade of the 20th century brought more changes and growth to Halliburton. The company opened a branch office in Moscow in 1991.
The company realigned its work into Eastern and Western Hemisphere operations in 2006, and in 2007, divided its service offerings into two divisions: Completion and Production, and Drilling and Evaluation.
