This Floorhand position is located on a land rig within the continental Southern United States including, but not limited to, the states of Texas, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Mississippi, New Mexico, Arkansas and Alabama. This is an extremely labor-intensive position, and will require abilities such as: handling objects weighing from 50-100 lbs on a repetitive basis, manually pulling, lifting and pushing, heavy exertion, measurements using rig tape, using iron roughnecks, tongs, elevators and slips, working in extreme weather conditions and the visual inspection of equipment.
The work schedule for this position is twelve (12) hours shifts for fourteen (14) days on, and fourteen (14) days off. The position requires the ability to work overtime as required, as well as the willingness to travel. Other duties will include assisting crew members and supervisors as directed.
Minimum REQUIREMENTS for this position:
At least Six Months of Current Floorhand Experience
At least 18 years of age
Valid State Issued Driver’s License (ID only not acceptable)
Ability to Pass Physical, FitnessTest & Hair Drug Screen
