The Fishing Specialist – Bits and Drilling Tools (BDT) is responsible for the planning and execution of fishing and remedial operations in both open hole and cased hole wells. He/She delivers excellent service to the customer adhering strictly to the procedures and safety standards. The position reports directly to the location Product and Service Delivery Manager. Successful position holders are excellent communicators, enjoy solving problems, work well in teams and have an excellent performance in HSE.
Responsibilities:
Plan and execute fishing and remedial operations in both cased and open hole wells.
Develop and implement best practices.
Monitor operation progress and provides updates effectively.
Develop extensive relationships with customers to enable lasting relationships.
Interface with clients, sales, engineering and maintenance teams.
Qualifications and Experience:
Technical Degree/ Diploma or equivalent
Minimum 7-10 years’ experience working as a Fishing Specialist
Well versed with MS Office suite
Intermediate to advance level of English (Written and Spoken)
