Job Description
Accountabilities:
To act in accordance with company and regulatory HSSE standards and procedures at all times.
Working with Quality to optimize and enhance our formulations.
Actively participate and promote HSSE activities in LOBP activities.
Ensure any change within the blending department is managed through a proper Management of change process.
Leads the learning and development plan for the Blending frontline
Ensure that HSSE management systems are live, relevant and up to date in all regards.
Updating and testing blending SOPs, considering all critical to safety and quality steps and ensuring process optimization.
Participate in the applying of CI methodologies and toolset to improve business performance.
Acting as OMC for the L-Game in all Blending notifications.
Action owner of the daily huddle actions within the blending team
Apply Operations Research tools, to assure maximum utilization of Man, Machine, & Material
Focal point of the Blending – quality action plan.
Assist in Deployment of PDCA tools to improve the workplace
Assure systematic approach to adoption/sharing of best practices from other plants/industries to be applied in the blending department
Apply effectiveness methods to improve system/equipment reliability and availability to meet key performance indicators (i.e. OTIF, PSA, OEE, RFT … etc.)
Optimization and best utilization of plant resources (mainly tanks)
Responsible for making sure that the manufacturing equipment is in good working order to make as much product as the marketplace dictates, with as little leftover scrap as possible.
Close monitoring to Flushing process to assure the most cost-efficient setup of flushing generation/reuse
Consider Economic Batch Quantities calculations on day-to-day operations
Implement cost-savings initiatives that remove non-value-added steps from the process, consequently saving time and money without impacting the quality of the finished product.

Requirements
Engineering or Science degree is a must.
5+ years of manufacturing experience is required.
Language: Arabic, English – must.
Awareness of supply chain KPIs (OEE – PSA – OTIF-E2E Quality – RFT)
Computer skills: MS Office application & GSAP user
