DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Pick and prepare orders for delivery or pickup according to schedule (pick, pack, label, wrap, ship)
Receive and process incoming freight (unload, receive, label, stock)
Keep a clean and safe work environment for optimal results
Operate and maintain warehouse equipment
Follow procedures, rules and regulations

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or equivalent
1-4 years in warehouse environment
1-4 years forklift experience

1-4 years pallet jack operations
Ability to lift 40 pounds
Ability to understand and work with inventory software

 

LANGUAGE SKILLS
Fluent in English. Ability to read and interpret documents written in English. Documents to include written work instructions, schematic/assembly drawings, standard operating and maintenance procedures, safety rules. Must be able to communicate effectively with immediate supervisor.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percentage.

REASONING ABILITY
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving variables in standardized situations. Ability to understand detailed drawings, bills of material, schematics, and work instructions.

COMPUTER SKILLS
General knowledge of Microsoft Word and E-Mail messaging, and an all-around general knowledge of computer operations is advantageous.
