SPS Structures and Tie-in System Engineer – Norway A leading worldwide Oil & Gas operator is looking to recruit a Subsea Structures & Tie-in Engineer on a contract / consultant basis.Job dimensions•To be responsible for the Engineering design of subsea structures / tie in systems and to manage the technical interfaces with the SPS Contractor and other entities during the EPFS and subsequent installation phase of the PBF projects. •Scope of responsibility will cover design to final hand over which includes procurement, assembly and testing phases of the SPS equipment.•To ensure that the engineering design meets the Company and/or Project requirements, enabling the SPS equipment to be delivered in time and within budget. •Assist SPS Technical Leader as appropriate.Activities•To promote safety culture within the project and his/her activities. •To ensure that safe and ethic working practices are carried out within the activities that he/she is managing or interfacing with. To guarantee the compliance on his activities.•To promote innovation as far as compatible with good enough approach for all activities. To seek optimization and savings all along the different phases of the project. To focus on costs without impairing QHSE objectives.•To keep SPS Technical Leader and all parties (as required) informed regarding ongoing activities status of the work package related to subsea structures and tie-ins. To advise the Technical Leader / SPS Manager on architecture related actions/decisions.Accountabilities•Design of SPS equipment to be in line with Company/Project specs adhering to HSEQ, Technical and local regulations.•Ensuring the design is appropriate to the context of the development and fit for purpose with focus on Good Enough approach•Technical support during all phase of the development from Concept Selection to assistance during start-up and operationsQualifications/Experience required•Qualification: Engineering degree•Professional Experience (number of years): 15 years’ experience with significant experience of Oil and Gas in Subsea SystemsIf you feel you have the experience and qualifications necessary for this role then please get in touch with me as soon as possible.
