1. Deck Captain experience (i.e. knowledgeable in cargo operation, maritime law/regulations, safety & security, navigation, business impact).
2. Has experience in oil, chemical and gas tanker types (at least 2 of the 3).
3. Class 1 Certificate of competency for deck officer for vessel of 3000 GRT or more, or Class 1 Certificate of Competency for Marine Engineer Officer for vessel of 3000kW or more.
4. At least 5 years’ experience serving on-board tankers, of which not less than 2 years in senior position.
