Senior Drilling Engineer
The job holder will be responsible for participating in the evaluation of the call for tender exercise for directional drilling bundle, controlling and validating well construction engineering/design performed at pre-project phase.
Preparing the bundle related to DRILLEX, perform drilling engineering studies and soft ware simulations.
Assisting the Head of drilling in preparing the drilling programs and issue related reports.
Perform collaborative work with the Geosciences team to minimize well trajectories complexity while maximizing reservoir requirements ensuring wells productivity.
Promoting new drilling techniques and equipments,
Prepare technical input to interactions with authorities and partners.
Participate in Health & Safety audits, Incident investigations, Service Quality Meetings.
Conducting end of activity debriefings, prepare End Of Well Report and well authorization for expenditures in relation with managed contracts.
Demonstrate exemplary behavior in relation to Health & Safety rules and compliance to the same.
Qualifications and Experience
? Masters in Petroleum or related field.
? Minimum 5 years experience in Oil & Gas drilling operations preferably in an operational position
? Very good interpersonal and communication skills (both Oral & written)
? In-depth knowledge of Health & Safety in Oil & Gas operations
? Clear understanding of Oil and gas operations and related matters.
? Excellent organizational skills
