Our client is currently recruiting Drilling Supervisors, based OffshoreResponsibilities will include:Ensure adherence to Company core values and policiesLead incident investigationsDevelop realistic time estimates which reflect an appropriate level of contingency.Review operational programmes, ensuring planned operations are implemented within the time schedule and budget.Develop and effectively implement operational procedures, including contingency and emergency procedures (well control, oil spill response etc)Undertake timely and appropriate risk analysesEnsure that change is managed and implemented appropriatelyDevelop safety conscious and effective drilling and service contractors.Provide direct supervision during all phases of well operations.Ensure that key learnings are fed back for continuous improvementIdentify and implement new techniques and technology to improve operations efficiency.Coordinate simultaneous operations.Verify that drilling rigs and equipment are fit for purpose, and crews competent (through observation, audit, inspection etc)Ensure the safety and accuracy of rig moves and positioningMonitor operational performance (HSEQ, time, cost, performance bench-marking etc)Core Technical ExperienceManagement and leadership abilitiesIndustry experience in Well OperationsTechnical and organisational skillsKnowledge of Company local standards, global standards and processes and industry standardsQualificationsEducated to Degree level in Engineering, and/or equivalent in relevant industry experienceContract positionIf you feel that you are well suited to the above opportunity and would like to find out more then please contact Orion Group for more information or apply by forwarding your current CV quoting reference 919582 Our role in supporting diversity and inclusionAs an international workforce business, we are committed to sourcing personnel that reflects the diversity and values of our client base but also that of Orion Group.
