Our client is is looking for an Offshore Inspection and Integrity Engineer to join their team in Amsterdam. The person will oversee all integrity, in-situ (internal) inspection aspects of the offshore gas pipeline. The role will be associated with organization, supervision and coordination of pipeline integrity related tasks. In essence, the role assumes technical organization of all preparatory work required for offshore pipelines.
You will have the following task and responsibilities:
Taking part in day-to-day activities of Offshore Operations Team and be responsible for adequacy/supervision of correct handover of DFI Resume and Construction Databooks of the offshore pipeline
Ensuring identification of interfaces, timely delivery of documentation
Development of internal inspection methods, internal inspections plans for the pipeline system and implemented in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) with associated procedures and planning
Define and manage preparation and execution inspections, maintenance and certification activities for offshore section.
Reports preparation, activities such as liaise with suppliers, clarifications with client and sub-contractors as well as correspondence acting as client representative
Perform detail engineering assessment of ILI findings, pipeline defects assessment (metal loss, anomalies, dents etc.)
Perform pipeline(s) static and dynamic stress analysis, fatigue analysis as per design codes (ASME B31.8)
Perform pipeline engineering calculations, pipeline expansion, walking buckling analysis of pipeline systems check as per relevant design codes, and pipe-soil interaction FEA and design report as per DNV-OS-F101 and DNV-RP-D101
Perform inspection data checks Perform a preparation of technical reports, notes describing the engineering evaluation of the most severe curvature findings/features along the pipelines
Perform ad hoc, or on as requested basis, site visits to provide technical support or assist in troubleshooting activities related to pipelines during handover from construction to operation
The right person needs to meet ALL the following requirements:
Fluency in Turkish or Russian
At least 10 years’ experience working in gas operations (not oil)
Technical University degree with major in engineering
Minimum of 15 years of experience in pipeline design, construction and commissioning
At least 5 years’ experience with offshore pipelines operations and maintenance
Maintenance experience working in deep water
Strong knowledge of modern offshore pipeline inspection and repair methods
Be competent with major offshore pipeline codes & standards: DNV, API, ASME, ASTM,NACE
Have solid experience in managing contractors, sub-contractors, vendors
An in depth knowledge of entire pipeline (offshore section) project organization
Experience of working in international and multicultural environment
