QMED (Qualified Member of the Engine Department)
Major Duties & Responsibilities
Perform engine room maintenance.
Perform maintenance of on-deck equipment as directed by Chief Engineer and 1st Assistant Engineer.
Maintain Engine room watch as directed.
Performs deckhand duties as required.
Other duties may be assigned as needed.

Deep understanding of the marine industry
Ability to maintain discretion and confidentiality at all times
Education and/or Experience Required
Minimum 3 years marine industry experience required as QMED, motorman, Jr. engineer or similar.
Active USCG license as QMED (OSV), all certifications for STCW compliance, TWIC, valid DL, US Passport.
Experience with latest generation Offshore Supply Vessels (OSV’s) is required.
