The Diesel/Maintenance Technician is responsible for assisting with troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and completing preventative maintenance on a Fleet of Heavy Duty Trucks, Trailers and Field Service Equipment. An understanding of electrical, hydraulics, PM, DOT inspections, PC and some software knowledge is required.
Oil industry and equipment experience highly desired.Extremely competitive hourly rates with high overtime potential!

Key Responsibilities:
Shift: 7 days on/3 days off – 12hr shift – HIGH O/T
Perform diagnosis and repair of any trucks, trailers or oil field equipment breakdowns
Repair and rebuild engines
Repair transmissions, driveline and differentials• Perform repairs to engine accessory components
Perform tune-ups using established procedures
Repair steering, suspensions, brake systems, frames, axles, electrical, hydraulic and a/c repairs
Road test vehicles to ensure quality of work performed
Position Qualifications
· Minimum 3-5years of mechanic experience on heavy duty diesel
· Caterpillar certification (engine and transmissions) highly desired as they make up the bulk of the equipment engines
· Hydraulics and electronics background
· Heavy front end and brakes experience required
· Welding experience / body fabrication
· Strong Diagnostics and preventative maintenance
· Satisfy all Department of Transportation requirements
· Good ethics and integrity with a high attention to detail
