Overall Responsibility

Responsible for the installation of NCS Multistage Unlimited Sleeves, NCS liner hanger systems, toe sleeves, and AirLock systems in any area NCS works in.

 

Key Areas of Responsibility

Support the NCS HS&E program

Report all non-conformance in a timely manner

Complete Journey Management for all required trips

Convey information and job details to co-workers at the end of each shift

Communicate with central dispatch on daily operations

Provide front-line support for customer with a high degree of professionalism

Prepare equipment for jobs

Responsible for operation and proper configuration of downhole fracturing and completion tools and systems for intended job and well design

Ensure that operational specifications (limits) of the down hole tools are not exceeded

Ensure down hole tools and equipment are configured correctly for intended job including pre-job testing and post-job downloading of data gauges

Liaise between pumping/coil services and energy company to ensure job success

Accurately complete job reports, create tool assembly schematics, and field service orders upon completion of job, including tool pictures in a timely manner

Ensure that all NCS tools and equipment are looked after in a professional manner i.e.: tools clean and painted, maintained, proper inspection performed before and after each job

Monthly truck inventories / Fleet Vehicle Responsibilities i.e. Insurance, registration, mileage reports

Perform other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

 

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Minimum of 5 years of prior oilfield experience preferably service tools, cemented completions, or liner hanger operations at supervisor level (experience in all applications is an asset)

Solid proficiency with MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

Strong knowledge and ability to run and monitor all drilling rig activities which include completion tally space out, torque specifications, shoe track make up, and cementing operations

Strong knowledge and ability to demonstrate application of downhole hydraulics and well bore volume calculations

Strong technical and mechanical aptitude

Experience in multi-stage fracturing (solid fundamental understanding)

Experience in drilling rig operations (solid fundamental understanding)

Experience in wellbore cementing operations (solid fundamental understanding)

Preferred experience with down hole tool and/or completions technology

Ability to work effectively with others in a multi-disciplinary, multi-background team environment

Willingness to work under varying conditions and in remote locations

Excellent communication, organization, troubleshooting and teamwork skills

Positive attitude and a high degree of self-discipline and motivation

 

Additional Information

Competency assessment periodically (every 6 months) to evaluate level of knowledge and ensure continuing knowledge growth

In house NCS tool training upon start up

Completion of a Breakout Session after initial training is complete

All required HSE training as per MSSA – employee code of conduct

International travel/work may be required
