Senior Field Specialist – Wireline

The Field Specialist does hands-on fieldwork with the industry’s leading technology that optimizes solutions for energy companies. The primary responsibility of Field Specialist is to deliver high quality services to our clients and for ensuring that the preparation and dispatching of equipment is complete. This role is directly responsible for the quality of service delivered at the wellsite, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation is up to standard and is in charge of the operating cell and is responsible for the training and development of personnel assigned to the cell and for the maintenance status of the assigned equipment.

 

Requirements:

 

 

Reside in New Plymouth, NZ and have the full right to live and work in New Zealand including New Zealand offshore locations
No travel restrictions and open to relocation based on company’s requirement
Proof of 2-3 years Advance Diploma Certificate in Mechanical, Hydraulics, Electrical or Electronic Engineering
Minimum 4 previous years’ experience of the Field Specialist fixed step training program, including certifications in technical training and on-the-job training & practice
Have valid BOSIET, MSIC, CSTP and OGUK medical certificates
Proficient in Maxwell operating system
Proficient in running and supervise services as below:
MTS Telemetry, FTB/DTB/DTS Telemetry
SCMT, DSLT, ASLT, USIT, IBC
GPPT, RST, PNX, WFL
PSP-PLT, MPLT, FSI, PMIT, EMIT
PERFO (WPP, HSD, ISGS, ENERJET, SWITCHES)
CPST, BST, MPBT, DBA
JET CUTTER, POWER CUTTER, BACK-OFF, FPIT
SFRT, CHFR
MAXTRAC, TUFFTRAC
COIL TUBING OPERATIONS
DSL, LIVE-PERFO, LIVE-PLT
10k WHE
A willingness to do physically challenging activities in potentially harsh environments
Ability to maintain, prepare and dispatch of equipment
Ability to managing people, interact with clients and other related parties
Ability to maintain high quality of service delivery, in terms of safety, quality and efficiency of operation
Good personnel skills, excellent in communication, highly self-motivated, competent computer skills and ability to learn new software
Must be a team player, able to get along with individuals from other groups in the organization, and a good communicator
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills essential
Able to follow directions and company policies
Have sound safety appreciation, time management and competent computer skills
Ability to use own initiative
Ability to work to a quality management system
Ability to complete paperwork in a legible manner

Salary: The salary package will comprise of a base salary in the range of NZD 63,000-67,000/ year + bonus.
