Our client is a full cycle service and maintenance company specializing in Wind Turbines. With over 3000 Turbines under contract internationally, they’re looking to grow their US business. Based out of Abilene, Texas and reporting to the Service Operations Director, the Regional Service Manager will be responsible for setting up the Regional Service hub, the hiring of personnel, management of O&M activity for all clients site in the region and supporting the Sales team with business development activity. Key responsibilitiesManagement of business and development of growth opportunitiesEnsure compliance with Safety, Quality, and documentation guidelinesLiaising with site leads, site supervisors, field technicians, and site engineersMonitoring site costCustomer focal point for local service operationsRecruitment of regional and site-based personnelManagement of all subcontractors and partner contractors Management of all resources, warehouse locations, sites, and projects Time and expenses approval for director reportsOversee the provision of maintenance on multibrand Wind TurbinesOversee completion of all paperwork, eg work order cards, checklists, AWPs etc.Ensure all health and safety procedures are adhered toSupport site operationsReport all incidents and occurrences as per company HSE policy QualificationsAs a minimum the candidate should have or be working towards:5-10 years hands-on experience in the Wind Industry.3+ years in a Service Management roleExperience on multiple turbine platforms preferred.Valid driving licenseThis is a unique opportunity to join a company in growth mode who have an excellent reputation, are financially stable and committed to the US market.
